Unique from its predecessor, the P2 includes an independent light sensor for flexible automation, although Alexa does not support this function.

Detects movement up to 7 meters/23 feet with a 170° horizontal and 45° vertical viewing angle.
Comes with a 360° adjustable stand, and sensitivity can be customized via the Aqara Home app.

Provides voice alerts and status notifications through voice assistants, and can schedule automations based on room brightness for optimal ambient control.
